Lëtzebuerger N-Bunn 69 ||

This is an imaginary model railway, inspirated by the Éislek region of Luxembourg. It is under construction since 1991.

Any ressemblance with real existing places or vehicles is random.

The layout is a romantic interpretation of the sixties and the seventies.The diesel operation of those days allows a varied use of rolling stock. Furthermore the freight delivery of that time permitts a lot of traffic.

The rails of the tracks have a distance of 9 millimeters. The letter N of nine leads to the name N-Bunn.
The scale of the vehicles and the decoration is 1:160.

N-gauge miniature trains are offered by many manufacturers.
You can buy them in many shops.

There are associations promoting N-gauge.

I read magazines from here and from abroad to get informations:

N BAHN MAGAZIN www.nbahnmagazin.de

MAGAZ'N www.afan.fr

ETUDES ET DOCUMENTATION FERROVIAIRES www.rail.lu

JOURNAL du Chemin de Fer
www.modelspoormagazine.be

I found documetation about luxembourgish railways mainly in the works of Ed Federmeyer and of the C.F.F.L.

In 2023 I visited an exhibition dedicated to the 1/160 scale. Out of the film material that could be used, I made a small video. Unfortunately not all exhibitors are in the film.

Here comes a small enumeration of N-layouts, which are inspiring me:
